So April has been pretty much full of soccer practices, soccer games, school events and Moriah's birthday. The weather can't seem to make up it's mind, so some of those outside events have been cancelled!
Thankfully Moriah's 4th birthday had been planned for Tumbles gymnastics and as it rained outside, the kids played hard! Moriah had such a fun time with cousins and friends! She got embarrassed while we sang Happy Birthday to her.... she is such a funny girl. I am sad my baby girl is growing up, but at the same time we feel so blessed to have her in our family. About a month ago her eyes started crossing, and at the recommendation of the optometrist we are taking her to a pediatric opthamologist at Children's Mercy Hospital. This visit is on May 10th and it can't come soon enough... we are just praying that God's will is done and we can find a
Going back a few weeks, the boys had a Kindergarten Program called "The Little Red Hen" that was absolutely adorable. Aaron has a speaking part and he did us proud! So funny that AI took the part while when Aidan was offered a part he refused, saying "I'm too nervous!" As their wonderful music teacher Anna Wooderson put it, it's pretty impressive that he could anticipate how many people would be there watching! (Aidan doesn't miss a thing!) They all wanted pics with their friends afterwards, and I was so thankful they have made good buds in Bolivar... as have the rest of the family! :)
Easter was a wonderful time celebrated with a family egg hunt in the afternoon. Gram & Pop hosted a great party in which the kids not only hunted eggs galore but also learned the true meaning of Easter!
As for some of our rougher moments... they still exist, like the boys greasing their hands up on Steve's car antenna to paint the driveway (and themselves!) We all know life is not without challenges... so I ask that you would pray grace, strength and patience for us... and we'll do the same for you! Blessings!

Loved all your pictures! We will keep Moriah and you in our prayers!
